I wanna learn how to drive it! (The clutch is super finicky on this thing, much different than the Dakota). Although it probably needs work, the clutch is chattering bad (I think it’s the throwout bearing, it only does it at idle) and speaking of the idle, it’s gone from “mild annoyance” to, according to Pappaw when he moved it closer to the garage, “It didn’t run worth a shit.” But either way, I WANT TO DRIVE IT.

I’ve never worried about salt or rust, but I’ve also never owned a car more then 3 years. I’d drive it rusts it rusts. In the meant time there is winter hooning to be done

Ugh, I really need to fix the frame on mine. It’s just sitting in the yard right now until I can get some metal and a warm enough day to try and weld it.

I think the Grand National- safely tucked in the heated garage- is the only one that’s been in the family longer. I think he bought that in 1989. The Mustang (a 1989) came home July 22, 1993 (so 25 this year, not 26. I always think he bought it in ‘91), his Chevelle was 1997, and the Camaro was 2003 I think (the only one he’s bought since I was born)
